NY Strip Steak 14 oz. It was too noisy. Topped with jumbo lump crabmeat, finished with CG's cheeses and lemon butter. Rainbow trout, broiled, topped with lemon, butter, olive oil and fresh herbs. Always outstanding service, food, experience. We will go back again. Chicken spiedini tossed with fresh spinach and tomatoes in a roasted sweet pepper and Asiago cream with rigatoni noodles. Spicy, crumbled house-recipe sausage in sweet tomato basil sauce. The food was good, the sangria was watered down with much ice and very little flavor. The waitress wasn't as professional as some that we have had. Had a nice dinner, everything was really good. We highly recommend it! Always consistently great food with exceptional service! Service was excellent. Our famous meatballs on a toasted baguette with Pomodoro sauce and melted CG's cheeses. Penne noodles in a pink cognac sauce with prosciutto, onion and parsley. Also, it came out burnt, so very underwhelming. Prices are high. Layers of breaded eggplant fried filled layers of CG's cheeses, roasted sweet peppers, pesto with Pomodoro and Asiago cream. One of our favorite restaurants in St Louis! With walnuts, red onions, Gorgonzola and poached pears in a raspberry vinaigrette. Rolled in Italian breadcrumbs and finished with CG's cheeses, lemon butter and roasted mushrooms. Food is very good quality. Service was great, food was awesome! The food was good but overpriced. The atmosphere was great and the staff is great. Our salads came out before the appetizers. The Original, handmade meat-filled ravioli, with our famous Pomodoro sauce. Bread was delicious but had to find a waiter to provide water and parmesan cheese after the entrees arrived. This place is a gem with ambiance to spare. Marinated chicken, lightly coated with seasoned breadcrumbs, skewered, char-broiled and finished with amogio. Ali, our server was wonderful, food very good Everything is ala carte so prices can be expensive Side dishes were very limited. Fresh homemade tagliatelle noodles with shrimp, scallops, clams and langostinos in a spicy three-pepper cream sauce. My server, Millie, was so charming and sweet, incredibly knowledgeable about what I could and could not eat, and was wonderful. Waiter was slightly arrogant and impatient. Thank you everyone for making it an amazing wedding anniversary dinner. Our biggest issues were with the noise level. Total gem of a place. We highly recommend it!! Very loud, service was terrible, messed up our order and food was overpriced - not a good value. All sandwiches served with fries, Italian coleslaw or fruit. Filet Mignon 8 oz. Mixed greens, red onions, tomatoes, zucchini, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, white beans, bacon, Gorgonzola and Genoa salami, tossed in our famous sweet and sour Italian vinaigrette. The rest was fine, just overpriced. My wife and I had dinner here for our 39 wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Six-layers, meat-filled, with tomato meat sauce and cream sauce. Great place for dinner! What I ended up with was a nice veal Marsala and four or five tiny bits of vegetable on the plate-- not great value for the money. Made with CG's cheeses and fresh garlic on homemade Italian bread. Romaine lettuce with our housemade Caesar dressing and our signature croutons. It was supposed to be topped with crab, but there was very little. Fresh littleneck clams in an olive oil, butter and garlic sauce. Meat-filled tortellini, mushrooms, peas and prosciutto in a Parmesan cream sauce. Food and service was absolutely awesome. Eric, our server was amazing! Mixed greens, homemade croutons and CG's cheeses, tossed in our famous sweet and sour Italian vinaigrette. With: Salmon, Chicken, or Shrimp. Extra large, roasted in garlic butter and seasoned breadcrumbs. I've been to the restaurant many times over a period of years and have always enjoyed it.
